What I’ve Loved This Week
I finished listening to The Ornithologist’s Field Guide To Love by India Holton, and really enjoyed it! Now I just have to wait until April to read the next one in the series: The Geographer's Map To Romance…
I also really loved listening to The Angry Women’s Choir by Meg Bignell. Currently I’m working my way through the audiobook of The Sparkle Pages, also by the same author, which has been great!

Question From A Reader
“I'm considering using wool blend yarn for a baby blanket. Are there things I should keep in mind to make sure it's not irritating for the baby's skin?"
Wool blend yarns are a fantastic choice for baby blankets, offering warmth and durability. However, to ensure it's gentle on a baby's skin, choose a blend featuring a higher percentage of soft fibers like Merino wool or alpaca. These fibers are less irritating and cozier for sensitive skin. Always wash the finished blanket with a mild, baby-friendly detergent to soften it further before use.
See my post about wool blend yarns for more information!

Nature's Lessons On Resilience
's latest essay, Seismic Knowing, paints a touching picture of how nature, specifically Montana's landscapes, teaches resilience and reflection.Through her journey to Glacier National Park, Dania intertwines life's trials with the rugged endurance of natural terrains. Her personal narrative really resonated with me, especially how gardening led her to deeper insights.
For anyone needing a cue on when to assert or yield, her reflections provide a beautiful metaphor: nature as our guide.
