Happy Sunday!
The energy that surrounds me when I’m out in nature is significant. As I approach this gum tree with its massive trunk, I have a sense of awe.
Not too long ago, the nearby river flooded. It would’ve had it’s lower trunk underwater for ages!
It survived unlike many other trees along the walking track. It gladdens my nature loving heart to observe its majesty and I give thanks for this tree.
I also thought I’d share some more pictures from the billabong. I return to it often, as it’s lovely to witness how things change across the weeks.
I took another video along the track. The birdsong isn’t as loud as it is earlier in the day, but it’s still lovely to hear the sounds of nature.
The pelicans above looked like they were enjoying the sunshine! In the corner of the photo below, can you spot a darter drying out its wings?
In case you missed it.
