Come and take a little stroll with me at one of my favorite spots. I revel in noticing bird calls. I wonder what type of bird is singing?
I delight in the contrast of temperature under the shade, the crunch of the dried leaves under my feet, the light breeze cooling my skin.
Nature’s weavers are busy in the saplings that have passed on due to the floods in this area. How I adore the symbiosis of plants and insects.
It’s like a forest of webs and there must be hundreds if not more spiders busy creating their intricate designs.
This was a nice surprise. My youngest son, while browsing in one of the local op-shops, found some bookmarks my eldest had knitted and donated!
I’m grateful my kids find creative and enjoyable ways to make meaningful contributions to the greater good.
I have a shelf near my desk and this adorable knitted cat has pride of place. My youngest son made it a few years ago, and I’ve loved it ever since.
That’s the great thing about handmade items. Such simple things bring such joy!
