I do not rewash the yarn... Always seemed like a hassle. And I never would have the patience to wait for it to dry... Sometimes I rewind the ball, so that the kinky yarn will be at the end. I figure that'll probably help?
Thanks for sharing Tay. I read an article about how tension and gauge can be affected if you don't get rid of the kinks hence why I practice soaking yarn to remove them and then drying it. :)
Beautiful projects Jodie! Just a suggestion - If you can measure how many grams of yarn is being used up each round, it might help you to win the yarn chicken. :) Venezia is a delicate and beautiful piece by Joji. Love her work.
Oooh thanks for that tip Kavitha. I ended up using a smaller needle size and skipping some of the rows for the crown section and I finally won the game of yarn chicken. Yippee! I agree with your thoughts about the Venezia shawl. :)
I love both the hat and the shawl you are knitting for your mother in law, both very pretty colours. I wish you a lovely weekend and good luck with the third yarn chicken.

Yeah, that makes sense! I know I probably should

Thanks so much Heike :)
Good luck with yarn chicken 3.0! I love the green yarn you're using for the shawl, looking forward to seeing it come together!
