Each one of those points you have highlighted are important in the journey of crafting! I sometimes struggle with acknowledging the changes though. It is easy to criticize oneself and ignore the little improvements. Magpie Murders is one series that might be worth checking out if you liked TMC. I haven't read all of either, though. :)

I've just started listening to Death of a Celebrity - Hamish Macbeth Murder Mystery after your recent read you mentioned. It sounded familiar and I remember watching the TV series adaption of the books. :)
